After walking along the coast path at Aberaeron I couldn;t wait to get out for a sail, but by the tme I had got home the wind had eased off a little so rather than going out with the 4.5m I had to go with my 5.6m. It was just enough, well powered in the gusts but a little underpowered at times on the inside when trying to get out (with the current).

Thankfully once I got past the shorebreak there was a big lagoon which allowed me to get up to speed and out the back where I could gain some ground upwind in the gusts in order to have a nice run back in riding the waves. Some of the waves out the back were massive though so I was always a little worried that the wind was going to drop completely and leave me stranded. It didn't, in fact it picked up a little towards the end of the session and by the time I got home it had filled in properly again!

Nothing special, just a decent sail in OK conditions.
